Continuous curvature of smooth corners for UI Design / Máté Homolya / Observable
This method allows for applying smooth rounding to any polygon, while also keeping the curvature over the surface continuous. In UI design, this results in improved smooth surfaces compared to the abrupt beginning of the rounding when transitioning from a circular arc to a line segment with previous methods. In industrial design, this technique is often used for structural engineering, product design such as Apple's widely known squircles and many other applications.
